Kari earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Spanish from Bucknell University in 2015. Her time on the Bucknell Varsity Women's Crew team and long history of participation in water polo and swimming piqued her interest in athletic rehabilitation.  She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California in 2019. Kari took advantage of opportunities at USC to develop her passion for providing care to underserved communities in the Los Angeles area. She has worked with patients in the neurologic population and performed a study in 2018 on the effects of boxing training on balance confidence in patients with Parkinson’s Disease. Her physical therapy treatment style includes a whole-body approach in order to promote healing and motivate her patients to return to their desired activities. She utilizes manual therapy interventions, movement analysis, and structured and personalized exercise principles to guide her patients towards recovery.

In her free time, Kari enjoys camping, ocean activities like swimming and paddling, and inventing new recipes in the kitchen.
