Daniel Abruzzi, D.P.T.

  • Multiply continued education courses focusing on evidence based manual therapy, orthopedic/sports injuries and treatment.

Personal Profile:

Daniel was raised in Albuquerque and graduated from USC in 2005. Prior to pursuing a career in physical therapy he worked in the medical field as a consultant. While attending the University of Michigan he was an All-American in swimming. Daniel's clinical interests include postoperative rehabilitation, sports rehabilitation, biomechanics and manual therapy. For the last ten years Daniel has resided in the Los Angeles area enjoying the local mountain bike riding, snowboarding and swimming. Professionally Daniel is a member American Physical Therapy Association and member of the Orthopedic Section of the American Physical Therapy Association.

Wilfred Diaz, D.P.T.

Professional Education:

  • B.S. in Kinesiology from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 2002
  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California 2006

Personal Profile:

Wilfred grew up in southern California playing water polo, swimming and surfing. While attending Cal Poly he discovered he wanted to do something that helped people and was related to movement. Physical Therapy was the perfect fit. Wilfred enjoys helping patients decrease their pain and increase their function. When graduating from USC, he received the Honor of the Golden Cane award. This is the highest honor awarded to graduates demonstrating outstanding accomplishments in a variety of professional areas. Wilfred is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and Orthopedics Specialty Section. He regularly attends courses to stay up to date on the latest treatments and research.

Wilfred is also a Los Angeles County Lifeguard serving our coasts and participating in lifeguard competitions for the last 12 years. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with family. Wilfred is fluently bilingual in Spanish and English

Eric Ordorica, D.P.T, O.C.S.

Professional Education:

  • B.S. in General Biology from UC San Diego in 2004
  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy from USC in 2007
  • USC Orthopedic Residency program in 2008

Personal Profile:

Eric became a member of the Harbor Physical Therapy family in May 2009. He became recognized nationally as a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist in 2009, and began working as Adjunct Faculty in Mount St. Mary's Doctor of Physical Therapy program instructing the Principles of Musculoskeletal Imaging class in January 2010. He has also has been a guest lecturer at the USC Keck School of Medicine teaching the musculoskeletal examination.

Eric is a native of the SouthBay and enjoys surfing, playing soccer and traveling. Recent surf trips have included Hawaii, Peru, Mexico, and Costa Rica.

Personal Profile:

A native to southern California, Alice joined the Harbor Physical Therapy family in 2009. She has clinical experiences in a variety of settings including outpatient and inpatient orthopedics, pediatrics, and skilled nursing. Her clinical interests consist of manual therapy, sports rehabilitation, and global health education. Away from the clinic, Alice is an assistant coach with the girls' varsity basketball team at TorranceHigh School. She continues to play organized basketball and enjoys biking, rollerblading, and reading.
